A Medical (MB; BS) graduate of the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and also a holder of DDSc degree in Clinical Dermatology from University of Wales College of Medicine, Cardiff, U.K and a Masters degree in Public health (MPH). He has worked for more than 15 years in both the Public and Private sectors as a Clinician and Public Health Specialist. He is also a programme management and Evaluation specialist with special interest on Immunization, Malaria control, HIV/AIDS, Avian Influenza and Reproductive Health. Dr. Gana was also a consultant at one time or the other to a number of Local and International organizations including The World Bank, Pathfinder international, UNDP and UNFPA

DR. SAKA MOHAMMED JIMOH

Dr Saka Mohammed Jimoh (M.B.B.S., M.P.H., M.B.A., FMCPH) is a Community Health Physician with over 8 years of experience in public health practice, research, and project management in reproductive health, health systems and capacity building for community driven interventions.

He has worked and provided technical assistance in over 20 states across the country, facilitated workshops and trainings on health system, policy analysis and formulation, proposal development, ICB & Organization development, Quality of service delivery, MIS, project management, supervisory skills, project modification amendment (PMA), policy and research for professionals’ bodies, NGOs, CSOs and faith based organizations across the country.

He has worked and managed projects in collaboration with many development organizations such as Pathfinder International (USAID project), PSI, SFH, CIDA (NARF project), Packard, Mac Arthur, and Ford foundations.

He has served as consultant to WHO, UNFPA, and UNICEF, and is an author a significant number of publications. He has a good working relationship with legislatives, MoHs and department of health in local government, stakeholders in health and communities across the country. He is a very confident and determined young man who loves to take up professional challenges and functions well with little supervision.

JADA E. AYUK

Jada Ebob Ayuk, is a 1990 graduate of English. With over 10 years post qualification experience in Business Management, Office Administration with involvement in Human Resources Management.She has worked in the Oil Sector, Information Technology Sector and Development Sector. She is also a part of the Administrative Support team of the successful U.K Govt Department for International Development (DFID) Change Agents Propgramme (CAP) before it was transformed into the Health Reform Foundation of Nigeria.

SHOLA AMURAWAIYE

Shola Amurawaiye (B.Sc. Computer Science), has requisite skills in Networking, System Administration, Database Management & Design, Programing, Web Design and Management and Help Desk Management. He has worked as a System Analyst/Programmer for over six years in the educational and financial sectors. He is a Computer Science graduate with Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) and Sun Certified System Administrator international professional certifications. He is currently the IT Administrator/Webmaster of HERFON.

KAMADEEN BABATUNDE

Mr. Babatunde, Kamardeen Edun, is the Administrative & Finance officer of the Foundation. He holds MBA (Master’s in Business Administration) from the University of Calabar.

He also has PGD (Post Graduate Diploma) & HND (Higher National Diploma) in Business Management respectively.

He join the Foundation in October 2005, he has 5 years postgraduate experience out of which he spent 4 years in a reputable Commercial bank

Mr Agbo Christopher was born on 7th August, 1968 in Olamaboro LGA of Kogi State of Nigeria. He is a graduate of accounting from Federal Polytechnic Idah and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. Mr Agbo trained with Pannell Kerr Forster, an International firm of Chartered Accountants for 13 years where he rose to the post of Audit Manager. He left the services of PKF and joined HERFON in February, 2008 as the Internal Auditor. Mr Agbo is married with children.

GLADYS GYIMAH MENSAH

A socio-development worker with over 7 years experience working in health and the social sectors. She is skilled in programme coordination, administration, documentation/data management, secretariat, logistics and human resource management including grassroots intervention programming. She is a Bachelor of Science degree holder (B.Sc.) in Human Resource Management from Irish University Business School with an Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management from Obari Institute of Management, Lagos, a Diploma in Social Works and Development from Benue State University, Makurdi and a Diploma in Computer Database and Programming from Orbit Computers Makurdi. Gladys has special interest in multi-cultural working. She has served as a resource person at different levels developing HIV/AIDS strategic plans, health sector plans, research and midterm programme reviews.

NAHGWA REBECCA OGBIMI

Nahgwa manages HERFON’s programmes in the South-south zone. She has been involved in the Nigerian public health development activities since 2000 and holds Master degrees in Public health and Business Administration. Her career in HERFON started in 2005 as a Research officer, Editor of the Maiden Edition of the Nigerian Health Review and today she has acquired a wide range of experience in various project management / researches and HMIS/M& E. Nahgwa enjoys learning new ideas and impacting knowledge.

ADELEYE ADEWALE is a graduate of marketing with vast experience in both private and public sector. He has worked as an adviser representing his L.G on youth matters under the first millitary administrator of Ekiti state. Worked as a Sales Executive and Branch Manager (sales) CASA DIOR INT.Kano .Worked as office secretary, HERFON Southwest zonal office. He has attended seminars on perticipatory leadership, company vision, managing change, organised by HERBMINS CONSULT AND PARTNERS (KADUNA).
